Full payment of the remaining balance is required 6- 8 weeks before the wedding date.

Due to the nature of the product the videographers are unable to give exchanges or refunds. This does not affect your statutory rights.

– 90 days notice or less – full balance due.

– 91 or more – loss of deposit only

Amendments

The Client shall notify the filmmaker of any changes to these details (venue, times, or contact details) as soon as possible in writing

Meals

Whilst we don’t expect to be fed whilst working and would never dream of having this as an element of a contract, often the Bride & Groom or the venue are happy to provide meals. As we like to remain on site even when not filming (such as during the Wedding Breakfast)  just so that we don’t miss anything, we would like to be informed if meals are available or provided in advance so that alternative arrangements can be made if not.

Package

All package prices are agreed and correct at the time of booking.

International travel and distant weddings are subject to additional costs at the client’s expense but will be agreed beforehand

Final Arrangements

Clients must be available to be contacted before your event to finalize any plans or change any important information regarding their event.

On the Day

Duration

Unlike some companies, Candystripe’s fees are clear and upfront and we do not charge by the hour so you your videographers will film everything agreed in the package on the day even if there are delays outside yours or the venues control at no additional expense.

Venue

For a booking involving a church ceremony or at certain venues, the videographer’s movements are sometimes restricted by the official in charge. The area from which the videographer is able to cover the ceremony may not be the videographer’s choice and the videographer cannot accept responsibility for any obstructed view should this be the case.

Equipment

Although all equipment is checked regularly and reasonable steps are taken to ensure backup equipment is available, the videographerer will not be responsible for footage that cannot produced due to technical failure.

Drone

Whilst every effort is made to capture the drone footage during your big day, sometimes weather conditions or other events mean it is not possible to film on the day itself. In this instance we will revisit the venue for footgae post the actual event.

For venues where drone footage isn’t allowed (such as National Trust Venues or restricted areas, we will not take payment for drone footage).

Additional videography services

On the day of their wedding, Clients may decide that they want additional video coverage that was not included in their original contract. If the videographer’s schedule permits, and an additional cost is agreed then this will be carried out. This request can be made verbally to their filmmaker during the day of their wedding.

Force Majeure

The videographer will endeavour to put the client(s) in touch with another videographer in the event they are unable to attend on the wedding date due to any cause beyond their reasonable control e.g. sudden illness, injury, victim of crime, flooding etc.

After event

Music Choices

In order to ensure a timely turnaround of your video, we request that the client provides their music choices in writing within the first 14 days. We request at least 8-10 song choices to ensure the music can be best matched to the video.

Although we have a vast catologue of music, unfamiliar or unusual tracks may prove difficult for us to find. Therefore we may ask that a client provides this for us.

Receipt of Product

Usually Video’s can take between 8-12 Weeks from the date of the event to be edited and delivered to the client. However this can be impacted depending upon the time if year and also how late the booking was made. Client’s will be kept fully informed of the progress of their video and Teasers/ Introductory chapters will be made available online in the interim.

If we are delayed with an edit due to a lack of response from a request we have made ie music choices, we may have to move onto another clients project and this could cause a further delay in the delivery.

We do endeavor to work to the quickest of our ability during the edit and ask that you be patient with us.

We want your end result to be perfect and would hate to rush it!
